Sea Buckthorn + Melon Smoothie

  Sea buckthorn berries are the main ingredient in this yummy smoothie.

  So, the combination of melon and sea buckthorn berries turns into a delicious healthy breakfast energizer drink or dessert.

  Sea buckthorn or siberian pineapple, seaberry, sandthorn or swallowthorn as it is also called is a real nutrition powerhouse! Sea buckthorn has multiple uses due to its protein building amino acids, vitamins B1, B2, K, C, A, E, and folic acid, over 60 antioxidants, at least 20 minerals, and healthy fatty acids.

Here’s the recipe:

  • 2-3 slices of melon

  • ½ cup of sea buckthorn

  • 100 g yogurt

  • 2 spoons of honey

  • 40 ml filtered water

  • 50 g hazelnuts

  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

  • Coconut shavings (decoration)

Here’s the recipe:

Step 1: Mix all the ingredients in a blender.

Step 2: Blend together until smooth.

Step 3: Pour into a jug.

Step 4: Enjoy!
