Pumpkin + Banana Smoothie Bowl

    Hey, guys! What about a pumpkiny smoothie bowl?

    It’s not only delicious, but also very healthy. So, I made it with freshly baked pumpkin. Of course, the process takes a bit longer but it is well worth the effort.

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of freshly baked pumpkin

  • 1 (frozen) banana

  • 1 spoon of sugar cane honey

  • 1/3 tablespoon of nutmeg

  • 1/3 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger

  • 1/3 tablespoon of cinnamon (optional)

  • 40 ml filtered water

  • Coconut flakes, bee pollen (topping)

Instructions:

Step 1: Mix all the ingredients in a blender.

Step 2: Blend together until smooth.

Step 3: Pour into a bowl.

Step 4: Serve immediately!

    You can also buy canned pure pumpkin puree in the grocery store, but be sure that the only ingredient is pumpkin. Often, pumpkin puree is filled up with sweeteners.


Pumpkin is full of Vitamins A, C, E, and K, and also contains iron, magnesium, potassium, and manganese.

   I sweetened this smoothie with sugar cane honey.

This smoothie is hard to miss.


Enjoy this smoothie bowl as a nourishing snack or a nice dessert.


For the topping, I used bee pollen and coconut flakes.
